Dighton-Moore Funeral Service has been serving the community since 1962. It all began when the Moore family of Moore Funeral Home in Tulsa purchased a two-story home on the corner of 2nd Street and Main here in Owasso.
Soon after opening the Moore Funeral Home Owasso location, the Moore family realized the need for a larger, more updated facility to support the community, and built the chapel to the south of the funeral home to meet the needs of the growing community. In 1965, the original funeral home was removed, and a new funeral home was built to better serve our families.
Though many changes have taken place over the years, our commitment to dignified, personal service – from pre-planning a funeral to facilitating a memorial service, cremation or green burial options has always been a key part of the Dighton-Moore Funeral Service standard.
